My inspiration
I am inspired by the sweetness of a newbornʼs smile, the snuggles between mommies, daddies, and their littles, and the laughter of a child. My goal as an artist is to capture these fleeting moments for you as a way of freezing time so that you can hold those moments in your hands or display them on your walls and truly enjoy them as art.
My style is one of simplicity and focuses on the natural connections you share rather than on forced poses and busy backgrounds. I use simple props and find beautiful light to create images that convey emotion. This style allows me to create portraits that you’ll reflect on fondly and cherish for years to come.
A stress free experience
It is important to me as your photographer to create a portrait experience that you will enjoy and remember. From our first phone call to the delivery of your portraits, it is my desire is that you will find the experience to be stress-free and know what to expect at every stage of our time together.
Before the Session
Upon reserving your session, you will receive a comprehensive planning guide. This welcome package is delivered to your door and includes helpful tips to help you prepare for your portrait session and start planning your heirloom artwork display.

During the session
For newborn sessions, I provide blankets, wraps, hats, bonnets, and headbands. I also offer a studio wardrobe for maternity clients as well as babies, children, and new mothers with clothing and accessories that have proven to photograph well.
For family sessions I recommend simple clothing in a muted, light, neutral color palette. Long, flowy dresses for mamas and simple henley shirts for dads photograph beautifully. Upon reserving your portrait session, I will be happy to assist you in selecting clothing for your session.
After the session
After our session, we will schedule a time to meet again to view your portraits. During this viewing and ordering appointment, I will walk you through choosing the portrait products that will best suit your home and personal style. I take pride in delivering high quality, professional portrait products to my clients.

I know first-hand that as moms, we are so busy and always have the best of intentions to display our family portraits on the walls of our homes; however, the decisions and time involved can be overwhelming. This is why I offer my clients a full-service portrait experience. I will custom design a wall gallery for your home and offer installation as well so your portraits can be enjoyed each and every time you walk by them for many years to come.
Future sessions
Returning for future sessions means the world to me. In the ten+ years I have been photographing families, I have seen so many little ones grow up before my eyes! When you return for a session or refer me to a friend, I know I have fulfilled my purpose.
